Heavy Lift & Aerial Lighting for Las Vegas Productions

Most drone crews working Vegas fly in from LA with what fits in a case. That works fine for a Mavic day. It doesn't work when your shot needs an Alexa in the air or a large source over a moving car, because nobody wants to truck a heavy-lift package and a lighting rig four and a half hours each way.

I'm based in St. George, Ut and only two hours out. Alta X with a MōVI Pro or Ronin 2, Inspire 3, and a 65,000-lumen array on a stabilized gimbal, on your call time with no travel day and no hotel line item.

Night-operations current with 3-statute-mile beacons, which in Las Vegas is most of the job.

Vegas airspace is the whole job

This is where most drone operators get productions into trouble. Harry Reid International sits practically on top of the Strip, and the entire valley is wrapped in Class B airspace with a stack of shelves at different altitudes. Nellis AFB restricts the north end. Large stretches of the resort corridor require authorization that LAANC will not grant automatically.

I've flown this valley for years. I know which grid squares clear instantly, which need a filed waiver and how long it actually takes, and which requests will simply never be approved, so you can plan an alternative instead of losing a shoot day.

Aerial lighting for night work

Vegas is a night market, and night is where aerial lighting earns its budget. A 65,000-lumen array on a stabilized gimbal, dimmed from the ground during the take, repositioning in seconds instead of an hour. For desert automotive an hour outside town, it's often the only practical way to key a moving vehicle at all. No condor, no crane, no generator run.

Property permission, not just airspace

Airspace clearance is only half of it. Every major Strip property has its own policy on drone operation over its footprint, and clearance from the FAA is not clearance from the resort. I'll tell you before you budget the shot whether it's actually gettable.
